Returns and Refunds
Parts, Accessories, and Clothing :
All clothing is final sale.
All tubes are final sale.
All cables and cable housing are final sale.
All Helmets are final sale.
Any items bought on sale are final sale.
Labour charges including tune ups are non-refundable.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging along with the original receipt. Purchases are eligible for exchange or store credit for 14 days from date of purchase. Some items may be eligible for refund. Store credit is non-transferable and not exchangable for cash value. Refunds can take anywhere from 14 - 30 business days and items purchased via card payments are subject to a 2.65% restocking fee. Deposits left for Bike parts and accessories are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
If there’s a problem with something you purchased from us, you can bring it to our store, or send the product back to our shop with shipping label:

All items are shipped out in new condition with Canada Post. Metrocycle accepts no liability for damage sustained during shipping. Customer is responsible for return shipping fees if required.
Bicycles:
All Bicycles are final sale and cannot be be returned. If there is an issue with your bicycle you have 60 days warranty, on non-wearable parts and labour.
*Free shipping does not apply to bikes and is only free within Canada
Shipping for bicycles is not guaranteed and can change depending on location. The cost quoted by our website is not final and is subject to additional charges depending on carrier rates, weight and size of box. Additional charges will be added once our shipper determines exact shipping cost.
Credit card / Card purchases:
Our apologies but our POS provider issues a surcharge for using cards in store & over the phone. Purchases using cards in store are subject to a 2.37% fee, purchases over the phone are subject to 3.5% surcharge.
After Pay purchases are subject to a one time 6% service fee on the final price upon shipment of item or instore pickup of item. We apologize for this, but essentially this is what After pay charges us to offer this payment method. MCTO reserves the right to hold an item purchased via AfterPay until this service fee has been payed.
Service Policy - Emailed quotes
The quote you have received is an estimated cost work order that outlines what services Metrocycle will perform on your bike. If your service quote includes a tune-up, your quote may change due to replacement of *cables and/or *flat tires that would otherwise impede our ability to service and test your bicycle. If your service quote is for one or more particular items only your quote can change depending on time, labor and extra parts used. We will always try and contact you for major changes in quotes but please be aware that sometimes this is not possible with certain repairs. The work order is already confirmed via your verbal consent and leaving your bike(s) with us. Upon completion of work, you will be emailed and phoned to come pick up your bike. Please do not show up until you have received confirmation that your bike is ready. We pride ourselves on being one of the fastest shops in town and space is limited, so not to worry, we'll get your bike back asap!
Cancellation of service: If you would like to cancel any of your quoted work, we need verbal confirmation before the work has been started. Please do not reply by email. Please call us. If any of the work has already been started you will be subject to our hourly shop rate prorated to how much time has been spent on your quote with included parts.
If no work was started, due to space constraints you have no more than 3 days to pickup your bike, or your bike will be subject to a storage fee of $10 per day.
Serviced Bicycle pickup / Abandon bikes
Any Bicycle, Bike parts, accessories etc. Upon completion of service and left at our shop for more than 2 weeks is subject to a storage fee of $10 per day.
Any bike left with MCTO for more than one month upon completion of service is considered to be abandoned and now assumed property of MCTO.
MCTO also reserves the right to pursue uncollected outstanding balances through a credit collection agency.
MCTO always strives to get your bike repaired as quickly and efficiently as possible, so please don't leave your bike with us longer than two weeks as we're a smaller shop and our space is limited.
